A luminous sculpture in the form of a table lamp, Realistico is a tribute to nature, crafted through an original blend of materials and manual sensitivity.
At the heart of the work, a large wool rose emerges from asymmetrical petals—hand-cut and casually draped—each fold and irregularity contributing to an organic illusion that challenges perception.
The white enamel finish, with pink and red hues, recreates the delicate coloring of a real flower,… while the spiked iron tripod—also hand-painted with a natural effect—evokes the tension between beauty and its own defense.
Hidden inside the flower is a LED bulb that transforms the rose into an intimate, living light source—conveying both fragility and strength.
The piece reflects the artist’s ongoing exploration of “enameled wool,” a personal technique that merges artisanal gestures with aesthetic experimentation, aiming to render a textile rose as realistic as possible.
