Continuing with the Maximal Composition series, we present an intricate tapestry fused with multi-dimensional polygons, dynamic shapes, and gradated hues. This painting involved a dynamic shift in painting techniques, as smaller brushes and unique painting methods were employed. landscape symbolizes the advancement of the Maximalism movement, in which basic concepts already covered are expanded and pushed even further. New shapes are also employed, such as gradated particles, black-colored dynamic plasma wheels, etc. This work is part of series involving figurative elements being mixed with abstraction. Numerous paints were used, including oil, acrylic and gouache, in addition to custom paints. The process for composing and painting this work required several months.

David Gaither is an award-winning American artist whose paintings have been featured in solo exhibitions in the United States and in London, Paris, Switzerland, Hong Kong, Japan and Dubai. His works explore subjects relating to mythology, history, science-fiction, etc. Driven by the conceptual, Gaither begins each piece in an almost architectural blue-print format, drawing shapes and patterns in a grid-like system. His artistic process is both lengthy and meticulous, sometimes taking months or years to complete a composition, resulting in "controlled chaos".
