« We all inhale the visual world around us. My auto-response is to go buy paint and canvas and breathe out something inviting. »
David McGlothlin is an award-winning artist based in the United States whose paintings have been featured in several solo exhibitions nationally. Fusing realism with pop art and abstraction, he cites the image itself as inciting his inspiration. In his artistic practice, McGlothlin avoids intentional narratives. His vivid works are almost exclusively created with acrylics on canvas.
