About this artwork
In this work, I wanted to capture the essence of a moment frozen in time, a silent meditation on the fleeting nature of our existence. I used pencil and graphite to infuse each stroke with a realism that speaks not only to the eyes, but also to the soul. The vintage, figurative style tells a story of nostalgia and deep contemplation. This piece is not just a simple representation; it is an invitation to feel, a second skin which will envelop the…
space with its contemplative and introspective energy.

France
David Mostacci is a passionate French painter whose works have featured in prizes, publications and exhibitions across the country. Primarily inspired by daily life, he depicts ordinary moments, habits and locations in a realist or hyperrealist fashion. Focusing on oil painting and graphic drawing, his representations of the banal and habitual appear intimate and introspective: recognisable yet interesting suspensions of moments of time.
