About this artwork
In this work in acrylic ink on 300g paper, an imaginary flower emerges from a vase with clean lines. The lines that traverse the flower, the vase, and the surrounding space create a network of correspondences where each element seems connected to the others.
I sought to evoke a calm and luminous presence, like a suspended moment. The warm colors of the flower contrast with the softer tones of the background, creating a dialogue between energy and… serenity.

« My artistic approach has been intertwined with a psycho-bodily practice for many years. I practice Kung Fu, Tai-chi, as well as yoga, and meditation. »
I am a painter and art teacher in the Rhône Valley. Trained in applied arts in Lyon and then in fine arts at the University of Saint-Étienne, I have been developing a practice centered on drawing, painting, and the exploration of inner landscapes for over thirty years. My work lies at the boundary between figuration and abstraction. Through my series PsychéFleur and Présence, I seek to create simple images, conceived as breaths. Plant forms, lines, and colors become the vehicles for an exploration of presence, breath, and emotion. I live and work in Condrieu.
