In Broken Soul II, the theme of inner conflict is condensed into a violet, relief-like form that stands out isolated against the black background. Cracks, indentations, and folds make the motif of the "broken soul" tangible in the material itself. Violet evokes an ambivalent meaning, oscillating between spirituality and melancholy. makes inner conflict visible in the material itself. The black of the background reinforces the isolation, loneliness, and delimitation.
