In Infinity, the exterior facade of a building is transformed into a visual poem of light, texture, and perspective. The metallic lattice structure, with its repeating diamond shapes, draws the eye into the distance—seemingly endless, like a horizon without a destination. The warm color palette, glowing from behind the cool metal, creates a subtle tension between technical precision and emotional warmth.
This work is more than an architectural snapshot.… It is a reflection on order and chaos, on limitation and expanse. The façade becomes a metaphor for the human quest for infinity—for that which lies beyond the visible surface.
Infinity invites us to reflect on the relationship between humans, architecture, and space. What at first glance appears to be a sober facade unfolds into a visual meditation on order, perspective, and the infinite.
David Söllner, a trained primary school teacher, expresses himself through painting and photography. By dealing with colours, materials and motifs, he creates a symbiosis between everyday experiences and the search for the extraordinary. His works are a kaleidoscope of positive colour compositions, darker moods or a dynamic mixture of both elements that reflect his mental journey and the crossing of his own boundaries. This creates an authentic world of feelings that vividly captures the fusion of imagination and reality.
