About this artwork
L’œuvre intitulée « Embrasement » reprend les codes et le langage de l’abstraction lyrique, et s’inspire librement des œuvres de maîtres franco-chinois comme Zao Wou Ki et Wang Yan Cheng. La composition alterne couleurs chaudes et froides, fondus aqueux pigmentés et nappes craquelées. Bien que la composition soit animée par un mouvement fluide, la verticalité reste présente au travers des coulures et ruissellements de couleurs.
