About this artwork
In this work created with Indian ink on paper, I sought to capture the duality of human nature, mixing raw art and symbolism. The fluid and dynamic shapes evoke a feeling of freedom and incessant movement, recalling the dance of emotions that animates each of us. This semi-abstract and figurative work invites reflection on the very essence of our being and the energy it releases.

Dayva Achikhman is a Russian artist currently based in France. Her work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions across the country for more than a decade. Using acrylic colors and India ink, Achikhman creates modern, geometric artworks in vivid rainbow pallets as well as black and white. Her works are incredibly detailed and multifaceted varying between abstract forms and concrete subject matter.
