Dayva Achikhman is a painter and graphic designer, born in 1966 in Russia. She studied at art school in Yaroslavl, Russia and a school of design and applied arts in Paris.
An all-round artist
Achikhman could be referred to as an all-round artist given that she does not only paint. She is, also, a talented illustrator and graphic designer, as well as a digital, Indian ink and watercolour artist. Her bold artistic work transports the audience to another dimension and awakens their senses.
The artist’s illustrations on paper, her work with Indian ink as well as graphic designs are some of the magical multi-facetted work that Achikhman produces. Her extremely varied and colourful palettes contrast with her very detailed and monochrome designs. The artist produces each piece with the meticulousness of a goldsmith.
An international artist
Achikhman’s career is on an international scale: she lived abroad for several years, in Asia and Europe, before establishing herself in France in order to develop her artistic work. There, she notably exhibited her work in Le Carrousel du Louvre in 2015 during the event Le OFF de la FIAC.
