My creation vibrates with the spontaneity of art brut, the tumultuous expressiveness of expressionism, and is rooted in the spiritual motifs of Aboriginal art. A fusion of acrylic and Indian ink, the bursts of bright colors against the black patterns captivate, evoking a dance between dream and reality. Dayva Achikhman is a Russian artist currently based in France. Her work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions across the country for more than a decade. Using acrylic colors and India ink, Achikhman creates modern, geometric artworks in vivid rainbow pallets as well as black and white. Her works are incredibly detailed and multifaceted varying between abstract forms and concrete subject matter.
