In this work, I used Indian ink to explore the boundaries between the abstract and the metaphysical. Each shape and contour is not simply a blot of ink, but an invitation to dive into a universe where the concrete and the imaginary coexist. Dayva Achikhman is a Russian artist currently based in France. Her work has appeared in solo and group exhibitions across the country for more than a decade. Using acrylic colors and India ink, Achikhman creates modern, geometric artworks in vivid rainbow pallets as well as black and white. Her works are incredibly detailed and multifaceted varying between abstract forms and concrete subject matter.
