About this artwork
In Ladakh 4, the vastness of the Himalayan landscape unfolds in sweeping gestures, where ice and sky dissolve into a dream of color and motion. The cool, wind-brushed blues whisper of endless horizons, of towering peaks lost in the mist. Below, bold strokes of crimson, sapphire, and jade burst forth like the prayer flags strung across the mountain passes—vibrant echoes of devotion carried by the wind, weaving mantras into the fabric of the land.…
Layers of translucent light and deep, grounding tones create a landscape both fragile and eternal, where silence is filled with the murmurs of the elements. The painting is a journey—a crossing between the raw, untamed forces of nature and the quiet reverence they inspire, where the spirit stands at the edge of the world and breathes in the infinite.
Painted on quality acid free paper made especially for painters, framed with acrylic-glass protection available in white or black, ready to hang.
Frame is 60X80cm.
« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
