About this artwork
What a gorgeous series of very bright and bouncy painting, characterized by the use of primary colors and oozing joie de vivre!
Red, yellow and blue swing around in bold large strokes of rollers, enhanced by the dance of smaller strokes with the palette knives, adding minutia and precision to the paintings.
Dynamic upward compositions convey a youthful, hopeful feeling taking the viewer to the brighter side of life.
This is a painting on quality… acid free paper made especially for painters.
It is sold framed in a 3 cm deep black frame with a glass top made of acrylic ( not glass- does not break)
Please check the video presentation to see all the details.
« In the beginning, the mind is as blank as the canvas. Then the hands begin their dance, the heart chooses its colors, and the emotions their expression. »
Delphine Bernard is an artist based in France whose paintings have been widely exhibited in Singapore and Indonesia. She compares each of her compositions as being like a vision or a dream and characterizes her artistic process to being "shamanistic". Bernard creates intuitively, allowing her hands to "dance and play" with colors on the canvas. Her vibrant compositions are created using acrylics on canvas.
