About this artwork
Taken from the series "L'Amour Perdu" in the fashion art book "NITA: An Impossible Dream"
Shot in Jalisco, MX., wearing a dress made of glass shards.
*printed in Paris on Hanhemuehle 300g fine art paper
The strongest emotion that many of us have ever experienced, is love. True love, that consumes from the inside and radiates in those around us. But what happens when we lose that love abruptly?
This series portrays a queen, in her vast castle, who… awakened to realize her king is nowhere to be found. What begins as a simple "Where are you?", turns into a frantic search for the only one who can mend her heart.
Having scoured her vast lands in search of her first and only love, the queen realizes that not only is her king gone, but the heart she entrusted him with. Realizing death would be better than living without love, she takes her last walk into the water, to leave before having to endure a lifetime of heartache.
