I call this, "Immiscible Opulence". That is, the beauty of the water-like diamonds is, by society's standards, not supposed to mix with skin filled with melanin.
But, have you ever seen oil and water together? Scientists can say what they please about these elements not mixing together, but have you watched… them together? They're absolutely beautiful. Watching the oil slide through the water, shifting shapes while rising and falling in the container.
Now, watch our skin and how the diamonds interact with it.
This series is two fused into one, with jewels added on a second shoot, so as to create a 3-D effect and emphasize the separation of oil and water.
