About this artwork
In this work, I sought to capture the essence of the ephemeral, to play with abstraction and simplicity. The textures worked in acrylic and gouache invite reflection. The painting evokes pure emotions, and is part of a silent dialogue with the observer. It will bring a contemplative dimension to any space, inviting calm and introspection. It's a celebration of beauty in minimalism.

Denis De Mot (1955) is a Belgian painter who started painting professionally in 1996. An economist by training and a computer scientist by profession, he changed his path halfway through his life and has devoted himself entirely to painting for almost twenty-five years. He lives and works in Gesves (Belgium). He exhibits regularly and his works can be found in collections in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, England, Hong Kong and the United States.
