Paradox Mu I, I explore the presence of absence.
The Japanese concept of Mu does not mean “nothing.” It refers to a state beyond affirmation or negation — an active emptiness. This work emerges from that tension.
Three forms occupy the surface without merging. They hold their distance and resist resolution. What connects them is not a visible line, but an interval — a charged space that breathes between them.
I am not interested in balance as… harmony. I am interested in suspension. Each mass feels as though it could shift, yet it remains held by an invisible pressure. The paradox lies in coexistence: separation without isolation, tension without collapse.
The background is not neutral. It is a field of quiet force that allows the forms to exist without explanation.
