In this work, I delve into the earliest depictions of the sirens from Greek mythology—enigmatic figures with the bodies of birds and the heads of women. I’ve been captivated by their duality, embodying both danger and allure.
Leucosia is a contemporary exploration illuminated by academic insight. While figurative in nature, it remains deeply connected to my abstract practice, serving as a means to deconstruct mythic forms and energies that later… transform into my non-representational work. This study acts as a cornerstone—a glimpse into the roots of my abstract visual language.
