About this artwork
Threshold is part of my Liminal Drift project — a collection of digital works that explore the space between motion and stillness, between what appears and what slips away.
This image hovers in that fragile moment of becoming: quiet, suspended, and hesitant. Soft gradients dissolve into hazy depths. A shimmer suggests a boundary — perhaps a line, or the ghost of one — but nothing settles. The image refuses to declare itself.
Inspired by Agnes Martin’s… idea of beauty as “innocence of mind,” I seek a sense of presence without assertion. Threshold invites the viewer to wait — not for clarity, but for resonance.
Each work in this series is available as a screen-based piece, a still image, or a silent animation. Printed versions are produced on Hahnemühle Photo Rag using Giclée technology. All versions are offered as unique editions of 5.
