“Absolutely” is not an answer, but a statement
A word that sounds like an exclamation. A clear, deeply rooted yes.
My work of the same name takes up this attitude: for me, it is visual affirmation, a determined adherence to a memory and a feeling.
Areas of cobalt blue, aquamarine, sage green, sand beige, golden ochre, and sienna structure the composition. The painting style is gestural, dynamic, and committed to process. Figurative allegories… emerge between the abstract elements—shadowy, suggested, more impulse than form.
The power of Absolutely lies in the self-assurance with which it asserts itself. It reminds us that affirmation is not a passive state, but a creative act. An inner acceptance of what is—and a readiness for what is possible.
And maybe that’s exactly what remains, your own “Absolutely” when you look at the picture.
