Derya Suter's artistic practice is serial and long-term in nature. Photography does not serve for documentation or narrative, but is used as a conceptual tool to examine the conditions of perception.
The works emerge from ongoing projects based on reduction, control, and repetition. Situations are not staged, but deliberately narrowed to allow for visual and psychological intensity.
The works aim to make states visible without clearly defining them. Meaning remains open and emerges from the relationship between image, space, and perception.
The practice is understood as a continuous investigation in which perception appears as changeable, situational, and negotiable.
Open to curatorial exchange and institutional collaboration. Inquiries from collectors are welcome.
Interest in a long-term curatorial representation.
