About this artwork
Spring Game is an original geometric abstract painting by Diana Large, inspired by the awakening of nature and the beautiful possibilities that come with new beginnings.
For me, spring is more than a season. It is a feeling of renewal, hope and the courage to embrace change. Through vibrant colours, intersecting geometric shapes and delicate hand-painted lines, I wanted to capture that moment when life begins to unfold again.
Each shape represents… a different path or experience, while the colours connect them in a playful yet harmonious composition. The contrast between light and dark reminds us that growth often comes from unexpected places.
Created with acrylic on canvas, this unique 80 × 80 cm contemporary abstract painting celebrates transformation, optimism and the joy of being alive, bringing warmth, energy and personality to any interior.
