About this artwork
The work presents overlapping, partially obscured… forms whose limbs, hands, torsos, and heads appear to fold into one another. Soft, pale flesh tones are interrupted by areas of darker, more textured pigment, creating a shifting interplay between presence and absence. Rather than describing the figures with clearly defined contours, I allow their bodies to dissolve into the surrounding surface. The result is an image in which it becomes difficult to establish where one body ends and another begins, suggesting that intimacy can transform the perception of the individual self.

The results are bodily forms that tell layered stories of freedom and intimacy, close to the skin and viewed through the lens of memory and expectation.
