About this artwork
This insistence of photographers on wanting to capture pretty girls with a lamp hat on their head or with their eyes closed and a sign around their neck… can be perplexing… depriving themselves of beautiful looks in favor of an obscure and rather uncertain “artistic approach” can seem disconcerting…
A desire to seek a reference, a justification in the long and very uncertain history of Western art is not excluded.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Didier Firdmann, with a background in science and a passion for dance photography and theater, combines digital imagery, drawing, painting, collage, and airbrushing in his visual and photographic works. His pluralistic style draws inspiration from the Renaissance, Symbolism, contemporary Minimalism, and cinema, exploring the movement of the body in space. Through his art, he seeks to convey curiosity, wonder, and the desire to tell vivid and captivating stories.
