About this artwork
In March 2022, I heard news about an elderly mother and her son found dead in their house. The woman was 90 years old, and her son, who had a disability, died of hunger—as if waiting for his mother to wake up. I was struck by the news and wondered why and how it could have happened in 21st. century.
