Dimitri Zoellin is an artist based in Indonesia whose paintings have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United States, Indonesia, and Russia. Defining his distinctive style as "raw pop art", his artistic practice and expression are based on the principles of freedom, hope, and a dash of revolt. One of the recurring characters in Zoellin's striking pieces is Charlie, who he describes as being a "hopeless optimist and inveterate believer".
