About this artwork
An artwork from my new series "The Illusions" I began working on in spring 2020. This is a completely new style for me. Before that my works were more graphical, streamlined and contrast-colored. First layer of paint I made intuitively making color stains sometimes the paint was streaming down freely sometimes I sprinkled dots of paint all over the canvas. The series consist of girls and flowers paintings about sixty works total.
These works were… presented on my personal exhibition in October 2020.
They were pictured from my beloved model, most of the paintings of this series were done with her posing me.

Dina Kalinkina is a Russian painter whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in India and South Korea. She enjoys portraying the beauty in the world, with flowers and nudes being central themes in her compositions. Landscapes aren't for her, as she is a self-described homebody. Kalinkina is a traditionalist in her selection of mediums and prefers to create using oils on canvas.
