On the occasion of the WEF, the British aid organization… Oxfam presented its study on the distribution of the world's possessions. According to this, 1% of humanity has half of the global wealth, while the remaining 99% have to be content with the other half.
According to Oxfam, 85 of the world's richest people have accumulated wealth equivalent to half the world's population of 3.5 billion. In 2010, this would have required the 388 richest people on the planet.
