Continuum is a tactile ceramic relief sculpture that explores the flow of form, structural rhythm, and spatial energy. Intertwining ceramic strands form a dense, dynamic labyrinth on a square plane, capturing the viewer's eye in an endless journey of movement. Executed in a clean, monochromatic palette, the work emphasizes shadow, light, and texture, allowing the organic volume of the lines to dictate the visual… rhythm. Rooted in the principles of Ornamental Expressionism, the piece translates complex philosophical ideas of interconnectedness and infinity into a bold, minimalist visual language. Presented in a refined metallic frame with a contrasting black mat.

Dmitry Spiros
Mexico
« I work on creating my own personal artistic language based on my perception of the world. »
Dmitry Spiros (b. 1971, Tashkent) is a painter based in Cancún, Mexico. Trained in classical easel painting, he developed a distinctive visual language built on palette-knife structures, chromatic tension, and layered surface construction.
While his earlier works were rooted in contemporary impressionism — including landscapes and light-driven compositions — his recent practice focuses primarily on the human figure. Within this body of work, Spiros operates through what he defines as Ornamental Expressionism.
In this approach, ornament is not decorative embellishment but structural force. Repetition, rhythmic pattern, and fragmentation become emotional architecture. Faces and figures emerge from dense painterly systems where color organizes presence and surface tension replaces anatomical precision.
His works are held in private collections across Europe, Japan, North America, and beyond.
