About this artwork
This was a very early work in woodblock printing with acrylics. The wood blocks used were long strips of wood in various widths and lengths. The surfaces range from carved designs to the rugged surface of dried acrylic, creating uneven paint application and producing the images. This painting produced a chorus of faces. The viewer interprets what they see and the meaning. Very few viewers ever see the same people. As the artist, I find that every…
time I view the art, there is a new interpretation.
