At the bend of the path, in the pine forest which covers the Akamas peninsula, a vision which seemed perfect to me..Balance and contrasts of shapes and colors, depth of field. The marriage of greens and blues of the pines and mastic trees in contrast with the red ocher of the earth and the white of the rocks in the bright light of an already warm end of spring, made me feel a great serenity in the violence colours

Donald Le Heron, a painter passionate about nature, began art as a hobby. Using mainly oil, he likes to paint "thickly", creating vibrant layers of color. Inspired by Chagall and Picasso, he developed a technique based on superposition, uniting varied aspects of a place on the same canvas.
