About this artwork
In historical paintings, Flora is often depicted as a youthful and ethereal woman, adorned with flowers and surrounded by lush greenery.
I was drawn to the "new edition" of the presentation, also combined with a more modern mixed media technique.

Credentials
- Works on commission
Doris Happ is a passionate painter and printmaker with a solid background in art education and visual communication, complemented by numerous advanced training courses at renowned academies. In her multifaceted works, she combines classical and experimental techniques such as mixed media, watercolor, charcoal, and collage, while maintaining an impressive stylistic freedom. Inspired by the rural landscape as well as great painters like Monet and Marc, her works celebrate the life and individuality of animals – full of empathy and a blend of gratitude for these creatures and a quiet melancholy.
