About this artwork
My alcohol ink works emerge from the tension between control and letting go. The process is only partially controllable. Pigments flow, combine, and develop structures that cannot be fully planned. For me, this is precisely the essence of these works: trusting the process and allowing space for what wants to emerge.
This work is titled Whispers of the Universe and is inspired by the silent infinity of the universe.
The different shades of blue… and grey, as well as flowing bronze transitions, are reminiscent of the vastness of the sky and what lies beyond: spaces without beginning, without end.
Colors open up, merging into one another as if expanding, further and further. Subtle accents shine like distant fragments of light, barely tangible yet undeniably present.
Whispers of the Univers invites you to pause, let your thoughts wander freely, and lose yourself in this silent, boundless vastness.
