About this artwork
My alcohol ink works emerge from the tension between control and letting go. The process is only partially controllable. Pigments flow, combine, and develop structures that cannot be fully planned. For me, this is precisely the essence of these works: trusting the process and allowing space for what wants to emerge.
This work, titled "Quiet Infinity," is inspired by the night sky. The deep black and flowing gold transitions evoke the tranquility… and vastness of the night, the still moment when one looks up and everything slows down for a moment.
