About this artwork
My work emerges from the tension between control and letting go. The process is only partially controllable. Pigments flow, combine, and develop structures that cannot be fully planned. For me, this is precisely the essence of these works: trusting the process and allowing space for what wants to emerge.
This work, titled "Weightless I," is inspired by the beauty of deep blue water and tranquil, white bays. The flowing blue tones and gentle transitions… evoke the feeling of gazing out over the sea, where depth meets light and time seems to stand still for a moment. The work invites the viewer to let go, to trust in life, and to allow themselves to be carried by the peace and vastness of the sea—light, free, and full of space for dreaming.
