About this artwork
This is a watercolor from 2008. I have tended to work on watercolors in groups at approximately 10 year intervals. The 2008-9 pieces are often lighter and have a nice cheerful feel. This one is somewhat unusual for its vertical orientation.

Through abstract forms and occasional figurative elements, he seeks to evoke profound psychological and personal narratives, conveying the rich emotional complexity of what it means to be human.
