About this artwork
Bycomoby is an abstract painting characterized by a vertical tripartite division and a highly textured surface. It combines geometric shapes with organic forms and linear structures.
The work relies on the effect of color, structure and form without representational depiction.
The dominant colors are various shades of blue (from turquoise to dark blue), combined with a central orange-yellow area. Black rectangles and an arched element in vibrant… red at the bottom provide accents.
It is a mixed media work on canvas. The surface shows clear signs of manipulation, such as scratches or reliefs, which could have been created by scoring the still-wet paint and applying texture pastes.
Like all of the artist's other works, this piece has a white border (approx. 3 cm) and should be framed. Therefore, it does not include a hanging device.
