About this artwork
In this painting, I explore the encounter between earth, water, and sky as a space of passage and transformation. Inspired by open landscapes and sea horizons, I have created a composition where the eye is naturally guided towards this central, almost spiritual point.
The light, carried by the moon and its reflections on the water, becomes a link between the elements. The colors, blending warm and cool tones, convey a gentle tension between movement… and tranquility. The birds, suspended in mid-air, reinforce this feeling of freedom and elevation.
Through this work, I seek to evoke an inner calling, an invitation to lose oneself in immensity in order to better find oneself.

Driss Meskini, a Moroccan painter trained at the National Institute of Fine Arts and the School of Visual Arts in New York, works primarily in oil on canvas.
