About this artwork
A scene laden with symbolism where death, power, and the sacred converge. The elongated figure, enclosed in its sarcophagus, evokes the passage between two worlds, while the serpents, wings, and ancient architecture reinforce an atmosphere of mystery and protection.
The elements overlap in a dense, almost ritualistic composition, where each form seems to carry an ancient memory. The warm palette, dominated by ochres and deep greens, accentuates… the tension between life and stillness, between presence and disappearance.
