About this artwork
Series about emptiness / existentialism / the human being trapped in the system of contemporary society based on consuming while using each other and using nature, animals, any life / being, as if it were a consumer material , a resource as if it were for you, because you are more important than him and it has to serve you, narcissistic egocentrism is a disease of the soul, until it is extinguished, based on disregard for others, and exacerbated… and pathological hedonism, only for themselves and satisfy their desire to need to devour both physically and mentally without actually serving more than to feed that own emptiness.
Only with oneself, NATURE OF THE HUMAN BEING.
Eduardo Bustos Segovia, painter, photographer and conceptual artist, uses varied techniques with non-digital media, preferably cardboard paper and graphite pencils. His style is an amalgam of symbolism, surrealism and figurativism, designed to awaken and sensitize humanity. His works are introspective and channel human suffering and existence, in an attempt to free the being from its condemnation to emptiness.
