If you close the right half of the picture and only look at the eye and the half of the mouth underneath, the woman's expression appears serious, almost a little depressed. If you now cover exactly this corner of the mouth and look at the eye with the other part of the mouth, the expression of the eye changes to a positive one.

The background is made from the art newspaper Il Giornale dell'Arte, which was taken from an inspirational trip to Venice. The woman was created in several layers of watercolor and acrylic.
The lines worked in with spray paint give it an additional modern character. A thick layer of varnish is used as the finish.
