About this artwork
The painting depicts a group of figures inside a bunker-like structure, which opens onto an external space of a blooming field. The encounter between the inside and the outside is constructed through a visual and emotional contrast: the interior space is dark, concentrated, and dense, while the exterior is bright, open, and hinted at with colorful, soft vegetation.
Despite the physical proximity between the figures, there is a sense of distance… or waiting between them. They are each immersed in their own world, cut off from the landscape that surrounds the bunker. The exterior landscape, which appears almost idyllic, serves as a contrast to the tension, the forced silence, or the uncertainty felt inside the structure.

Einat Lev Ari is an experienced artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Art Reveal Magazine, The Flux Review Art, Coffee Magazine, etc. Won many art awards such as the Professional & Established Artist category award from the Society of Visual Artists in London, Certificate of artistic merit awarded by the museum Luxembourg. Ari cites her background as a psychologist as being inextricably linked to her artistic practice. Today she studies in an art school and paints in acrylic and oil, engages in sculpture and installations.
