Prayer is a form of gathering inward, perhaps defending against a threat. The prayer takes place when the person is enveloped in the terror of his existence and sadness descends on him.
Pain turns into hope
The initial prayer is an outburst, a voiceless shout. The pain and sadness turn into hope, meeting and intimacy. But prayer does not necessarily express the realization of desire. The prayer is evidence of a shortcoming, an expression of an unfulfilled… desire. If man were complete and full, he would not pray.
Prayer is an expectation of a desire for something to change. Standing in this expectation is the essence of prayer.

Einat Lev Ari is an experienced artist based in Israel whose paintings have been exhibited nationally. In addition, her art has been featured in publications such as Art Reveal Magazine, The Flux Review Art, Coffee Magazine, etc. Won many art awards such as the Professional & Established Artist category award from the Society of Visual Artists in London, Certificate of artistic merit awarded by the museum Luxembourg. Ari cites her background as a psychologist as being inextricably linked to her artistic practice. Today she studies in an art school and paints in acrylic and oil, engages in sculpture and installations.
