About this artwork
"Cherry bomb" is a small artwork created from epoxy resin and sakura petals. It is a translucent wall sculpture - one of the experiments before Elen Alien started working on the big-scale "Mono no aware" project. Sakura - is a cherry blossom, a symbol of the quick passing of youth. The shape is melting like it is fluid, water, referring to female energy and time flow.
