Sun and flower—or perhaps flower as sun? This work transforms the sunflower into a cosmic symbol. Its center resembles a radiant star, while the petals spread outward like beams of light. Every line conveys unity: as if the sun itself rises because of the flower, or, conversely, the sun is but a giant sunflower setting the rhythm of the universe.
Like gears in a complex mechanism, the flower and the sun interlock, driving the endless motion of the… cosmos. Dewdrops on the leaves emphasize the sense of vitality, linking the vast macrocosm with the intimate microcosm.
Acrylic on canvas gives the radiance both density and depth, making the composition alive and breathing. The painting speaks of the eternal cycle of energy, where flower and sun are inseparable parts of one whole.
