Lingering Tides explores the quiet persistence of the ocean — a moment where movement slows and water seems to hover between flow and stillness.
Created with blue inks, the work evokes an abstract seascape seen from above, where waves dissolve into fluid rhythms and layers of transparency. Soft transitions between deep blue and white suggest sea foam, depth, and the natural breathing of the ocean.
This artwork continues my artistic concept of metamodernism… and the observer effect. I invite the collector to become a co-creator of the piece by adding a small personal detail to the surface of the artwork, as well as their name on the back — as a co-author.
