About this artwork
In this painting I captured the last warmth of an autumn sunset. The golden yellow and deep black contrasts are not only a visual but also an emotional representation of the fleeting beauty of nature. This work is intended to symbolize the hope and renewal that every sunset brings.

I was already interested in painting as a child. However, my father did not allow me to pursue an artistic career, so I initially devoted myself to my education and to running our family business.
It was not until 1994, after a long break, that I picked up the paintbrush again. A turning point was an invitation from the Graz Chamber of Commerce to an exhibition at which the art expert Prof. Dr. Koren was present. His encouragement gave me the confidence to present my works to the public - this marked the start of my artistic career.
My work reflects a deep connection with nature and rural life. Through my images I want to convey a feeling of calm and serenity to the viewer and remind them how important it is to perceive the beauty of everyday life. It is this timeless connection to nature that is reflected in all my works.
