About this artwork
In my oil painting work, I explore the serene beauty and fine details of flowering branches. The deep gold background color enhances the contrast and makes the delicate white flowers stand out stunningly. I wanted to capture the extraordinary and peaceful nature of nature. Each stroke is executed with devotion to please not only the eyes but also the soul.

I was already interested in painting as a child. However, my father did not allow me to pursue an artistic career, so I initially devoted myself to my education and to running our family business.
It was not until 1994, after a long break, that I picked up the paintbrush again. A turning point was an invitation from the Graz Chamber of Commerce to an exhibition at which the art expert Prof. Dr. Koren was present. His encouragement gave me the confidence to present my works to the public - this marked the start of my artistic career.
My work reflects a deep connection with nature and rural life. Through my images I want to convey a feeling of calm and serenity to the viewer and remind them how important it is to perceive the beauty of everyday life. It is this timeless connection to nature that is reflected in all my works.
