Eliane Saheurs, an award-winning Swiss artist who resides in Canada, has had her art featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in the latter. Her art is inspired by eroded surfaces, intricate patterns and textures, as well as the vivid colors of minerals and rocks. Saheurs enlarges microscopic images of polished sections of rocks and minerals, inviting the discovery of minute landscapes. Often creating in themed series, she enjoys working on large canvases using acrylics.
